Oilers Ranked 33rd in Winter Learfield Standings

The University of Findlay is ranked 33rd in the Winter 2013-14 NCAA Division II Learfield Sports Directors’ Cup standings, which were released on March 20.

The Oilers have racked up 213.50 points so far.  Findlay finished eighth in men's indoor track and field and 13th in men's wrestling.  The UF women’s swimming and women’s indoor track and field teams also accumulated points in the standings.

The Learfield Sports Directors’ Cup was developed as a joint effort between the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and USA Today. Points are awarded based on each institution's finish in up to 14 sports -- seven women’s and seven men’s.

The final Division II winter standings will be released Thursday, April 3.
