Oilers Finish 3rd in GLIAC Presidents' Trophy Standings

GLIAC Presidents’ Trophy Breakdown

The University of Findlay finished third in the annual Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Presidents’ Trophy standings, which were released by the league office on May 11.

The Oilers received 153.5 points in the standings, scoring 92.5 on the men’s side and 61 on the women’s. They finished behind Grand Valley State University (237) and Ashland University (178.5) in the standings. Grand Valley State has now earned their 17th consecutive GLIAC Presidents’ Trophy.

The GLIAC Presidents’ Trophy is commonly referred to the All-Sports Trophy and is awarded at the end of each year of competition to the conference member having demonstrated general excellence in all or most sports.
