Findlay Takes Fourth in Final GLIAC Presidents' Trophy Standings

Findlay, OH – In its final year as a member of the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC), the University of Findlay has finished in fourth place in the annual GLIAC Presidents' Trophy standings, which are based on final regular season standings except for the following sports that are based on conference tournament finish: cross country, golf, indoor track & field, outdoor track & field, swimming & diving.

The Presidents' Trophy, commonly referred to as the All-Sports Trophy, is awarded at the end of each year of competition to the conference member having demonstrated general excellence in all or most sports. The award is designed to promote well-rounded athletic programs within each member institution.

In 17 years as a member of the GLIAC, the Oilers have never finished lower than seventh in the standings and have been ranked in the top five 14 times including five third-place finishes.
