Oilers Sweep Chargers

The University of Findlay baseball team out-scored Hillsdale College 15-3 on the road in two games on Saturday, April 9 to give them a 6-17-1 record on the season with a 4-10 mark in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC).

The Oilers won the first game 7-2 behind a stellar pitching performance from Ryan Rothenbuhler, who allowed only two runs on eight hits in seven innings of work.

At the plate, Jason Reitenbach went 3-for-3 with three runs-batted-in and two runs scored while Kyle Wilson drove in two runs and also scored two during the win.

The Oilers were victorious by a score of 8-1 in the second game as Drew Hargrove allowed only two hits and one run in seven innings of action.

Offensively, the Oilers had their sticks working as Tommy Roush, Victor Migliore and Wilson each hit a home run in the game.

The Oilers will be back in action again tomorrow at Hillsdale for a twin bill beginning at noon.
