Warriors Sweep Oilers

The University of Findlay baseball team was swept by Wayne State University on Saturday, March 26 at Fifth Third Field to run their record to 2-11-1 on the season with a 0-4 mark in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC).

In the Oilers 12-1 loss in the opener, Wayne State scored seven runs in the seventh to break the game open.

Dustin Zielaskiewicz had both of Findlay's hits while Ryan Rothenbuhler took the loss after allowing five runs in six innings.

The Oilers fell 4-0 in the second contest and managed only two hits again, one each from Jon Shollenberger and Zielaskiewicz.

Preston Zachrich was saddled with the loss after allowing three runs on three hits in five innings of work.

The Oilers will be back in action again on March 30 as they travel to Columbus, Ohio to face Ohio Dominican in a twin bill beginning at 1 pm.
