The University of Findlay Oilers baseball team lost both games against Grand Valley State on Saturday, April 21st in Findlay, Ohio.

Victor Migliore recorded the only Findlay hit in the first game on a 4-0 route.

Preston Zachrich went six innings giving up two earned runs on eight hits while striking out seven.  The loss pushed his record back to 3-4 on the season.

The Lakers defeated the Oilers 3-2 in game two.

Findlay's only runs came in the fourth inning when Reid Rothenbuhler recorded an RBI single to score Tommy Roush and Migliore recorded an RBI on a sacrifice fly to score Rothenbuhler.

Rothenbuhler, Migliore, Blake Schmenk and David Cort each recorded a hit for the Oilers in the game.

Despite taking the loss, Ethan James went the distance allowing three runs on five hits while striking out five.

The Oilers overall record drops to 14-23 on the year with a 7-17 mark in conference play.  They will conclude the four game series tomorrow beginning at noon.
