The University of Findlay baseball team fell 4-1 to Saginaw Valley State on Tuesday, April 2 in University Center, Mich.
The Oilers only run came in the top of the eighth when Blake Schmenk walked, and later scored on a Victor Migliore single.
Garrett Busch, Miquel Valdez and Migliore had the only hits for Findlay.
Drew Hargrove took the loss on the mound, giving up four earned runs on eight hits while striking out four. His record is now 1-1 on the season.
With the loss, the Oilers move to 9-12 on the year with a 3-7 mark in GLIAC play. They will be back in action tomorrow when they wrap up their three game series in a double-header with Saginaw.
