Baseball/Softball Games Against Wayne State Postponed

The University of Findlay baseball and softball teams were each scheduled to play a twin bill against Wayne State University at home on Wednesday, April 10, but were postponed due to rain.

The first baseball game of the doubleheader was called with the score tied 2-2 in the fifth inning.  The game will be finished next Wednesday, April 17 in Detroit, Mich.  The Oilers were scheduled to play the Warriors in a nine-inning game on April 17 and will now make that game up and have the choice to play the nine-inning game or two other seven-inning contests.

The softball team never took the field against the Warriors due to the rain, thunder and lightning.  Dates for a makeup are being discussed.
