Oilers Fall 7-4 Against ODU

The University of Findlay baseball team was defeated 7-4 by Ohio Dominican University on Sunday, April 14 in Findlay, Ohio.

The Oilers were able to score a run in the ninth and brought the winning run to the plate with the bases loaded but failed to capitalize.

Blake Schmenk led Findlay at the plate going 3-for-4 with a doube while Victor Migliore and Dylan Cintula each chipped in with two hits of their own.

Darrell Thobe took the loss, allowing three earned runs on seven hits while striking out two in five and a third innings.

With the loss, the Oilers move to 14-16 on the year with a 7-11 mark in GLIAC play. They will be back in action on Tuesday to host Cedarville in a twin bill.
