Awards Announced for Orange and Black Series

The University of Findlay baseball coaches selected the award winners for the Orange and Black series which concluded on Friday, October 17th with the Orange Squad winning the three-game series.

Awards:

Series MVP: Logan Harrah

Snickers Best Pitcher Award (Orange): Anthony Ondrejcak

Snickers Best Pitcher Award (Black): A.J. Cecil

Cheetos "Big Cheese" Award: Tyler Donaldson, Nick Antonides

About the series, Orange Captain, Jon Walker said, "After falling in a tightly contested Game 1, we were able to battle back from early deficits in Games 2 & 3 to take the series.  There was never a sense of doubt or quit from any of these guys.  We were able to overcome adversity, battling through the tough weather to win the trophy.  I couldn't be more proud of the effort from either team.  Neither team gave up at any point during the series and that gives me a great amount of hope and excitement for what this team is going to do this year."
