Bowling Green, OH – The University of Findlay baseball team traveled north to take on Division I and Mid-American Conference opponent Bowling Green State University Falcons. The game, played on Tuesday, March 31, dropped the Oilers record to 6-18 on the season.

BGSU took a lead in the first inning as they piled on four runs. A single run in the second, three runs in the fourth, and two more in the sixth completed the scoring as the Falcons struck for ten runs on 13 hits.

Findlay's offense struggled as they were only able to collect one hit, a Peter Yorgen single in the seventh inning.

Cory Carl took his first loss of the season as he pitched 3.2 innings and allowed eight runs, four earned, on eight hits. He walked two and struck out none.

The Oilers hit the road this weekend, April 3-4, as they travel to Saginaw Valley State to take on the Cardinals for Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) games set to begin at 1:00pm.
