Williams, Rodesky Earn All-GLIAC Honors

All-GLIAC Release

Senior pitcher Alex Williams and sophomore pitcher Austin Rodesky were named honorable mention all-Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) on May 6.

Williams broke his own school record with 22 appearances for the Oilers this season out of the pen. He finished the year with a 2-2 record to go along with six saves. He also posted an earned run average of 3.25 and ends his career with 19 saves, the second best mark in school history.

The Perrysburg, Ohio native earned first team all-conference accolades as a junior to go along with all-region and honorable mention All-American honors.

Rodesky finished the year with a 3-6 record, which included four complete games. He registered 56 strikeouts in 58.2 innings and also posted a 3.53 earned run average on the mound.

In addition, Wayne State senior Christian Bilkovic received the distinguished inaugural Troy Berry Award. The award will be presented annually to the GLIAC baseball player who best combines outstanding character and leadership on the field, in the classroom, and in the community. The honor is named after former Findlay head baseball coach, Troy Berry.
