Findlay, OH – The University of Findlay baseball team continued their game vs. the Tiffin Dragons on Wednesday, May 5. The game, which began on Sunday, April 30, was rained out in the top of the fifth inning and resumed today with the Oilers trailing 4-0.

When play resumed, the Oilers first at-bat came in the bottom of the fifth when freshman Trevor Anderson and junior Pete Burkett hit singles. But a strikeout and two pop ups would end the threat in the fifth.

Findlay had the same situation in the seventh when Anderson and Burkett reached to begin the inning, but again, a strikeout and two pop ups ended that inning.

Again in the ninth, the Oilers had two runners reach base, but they were unable to capitalize and the game ended with the Dragons on top, 4-0.

Senior Peter Yorgen, Trevor Anderson, and Pete Burkett each finished with two hits apiece for all of Finlay's six hits.

Sophomore Tyler Kennedy took the loss on the hill and is now 2-3 on the year. He threw 2.1 innings and allowed two runs on two hits. He walked three and struck out one.

Findlay will play their final series of the year this weekend at Northwood.
