Gossard and Robinson Named First Team All-G-MAC

Findlay, Ohio – The Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) announced their 2018 Baseball All-Conference awards at the conference championship banquet in Blue Ash, Ohio on Tuesday, May 8. Findlay's Colin Gossard and Josh Robinson landed spots on the first team while Derrick Herd and Ethan St. Clair earned honorable mention status.

A senior from Lima, Ohio, Colin Gossard has been dominant on the hill, picking up five wins in nine starts. He has thrown a career-high 56 innings and has recorded 64 strikeouts while posting an ERA of 3.70. This is the first all-conference award of Gossard's career.

Also landing a spot on the first team was senior Josh Robinson. This season, Robinson has 21 appearances, one shy of the school record of 22 set by Alex Williams in 2015. This season, Robinson has an ERA of 3.27 and has 29 Ks in 22 innings of work and has recorded a G-MAC record 11 saves. Those 11 saves are tied for the Findlay school record set by Josh Barney in 2008. This is the first all-conference award of Robinson's career.

Picking their first all-conference awards as well are Derrick Herd and Ethan St. Clair. Herd is hitting .320 this season and leads the team with 11 stolen bases while St. Clair his hitting a team-high .323. He leads the squad with 24 RBI.
