Western Team Wins Regional Competition

The University of Findlay western equestrian team took home a regional championship on March 12 by accumulating 294 points in their Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA) competition. Tiffin University came in second with 192 points.

Individually, Findlay's Kayla Magrum was named the high point rider while teammate Marissa Phillips earned reserve champion honors.

The top two riders in each division will move to next weekend's semifinals, the last stop before the national championship.
