Western Wins Semifinals

The University of Findlay western equestrian team won their Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA) semifinal, which ran from March 19-20 in Findlay, Ohio.

The Oilers put up 33 points in the two-day competition, which was five points better than Ohio State. The Buckeyes put up 28 points to finish as the reserve champion. The Oilers have now qualified to compete at the national championship in team competition with their performance in this event.

Individually, Kayla Magrum, the regional high point rider, will represent Findlay's region in the AQHA High Point Cup Competition at the national championship.
