Bio

Cindy Morehead has been an instructor at the University of Findlay since the founding of the Western Equestrian program in 1977. Cindy is the head coach of The University of Findlay’s Western Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (I.H.S.A.) Team, a post which she has held since 2005. During her time as head coach, the Western I.H.S.A. team has achieved four national championships and two reserve national championships. Cindy has also coached four different I.H.S.A. National High Point Riders and has sent several competitors to National Reining Horse Association’s Collegiate Competition. She is also responsible for bringing five undefeated seasons to the University of Findlay and the highest number of individual National Champions within the I.H.S.A.

Cindy is an accomplished horse trainer who has produced multiple All American Quarter Horse Congress winners and top ten placers, as well as multiple World Show Qualifiers. She is a long-standing director of the Ohio Quarter Horse Association. Cindy also is a well-respected clinician and judge.
