English Team Takes 9th at Nationals

Results

The University of Findlay English equestrian team placed ninth at the 2013 Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA) National Championship, which was held in Harrisburg, Pa. on May 2-5.

The Oilers finished the competition with four points and were led by Bethany Ockwell, who took fifth place in the team event of intermediate equitation over fences.

Katie Pohlman (novice equitation of the flat) and Bethany Ockwell (intermediate equitation on the flat) each placed sixth in their respective events during team competition while Christin Kausrud added a tenth place finish in the open equitation on the flat.

Melissa McDonald added a seventh place finish in individual competition in the novice equitation on the flat.
