English Equestrian Wins Zone 6 Regional Championship

The University of Findlay English equestrian team won the Zone 6 Region 1 Championship on March 14. The team is now headed to Zones in Morehead, Ky. on March 28 to compete for a spot at the National Championship.

UF had several riders qualify as individuals who will be heading to Zones.

Moira Rosenbaum - Regional Champion Novice Fences

Bethany Ockwell - Regional Champion Open Flat. Bethany also earned the title of Reserve Champion in the Cacchione Cup

Katie Pohlman - Regional Champion Intermediate Flat

Taylor Cheeseman -  Regional Reserve Champion Intermediate Flat

Elle Brady - Regional Reserve Champion Novice Flat

Celina Ortiz - Regional Champion Walk Trot
