Oilers Complete Zone 6 Regionals

The University of Findlay English equestrian team had 17 individuals compete at Lake Erie College in Painesville, Ohio on March 11 in the Zone 6 Region 1 event. The Oilers had four individuals qualify for the Zone 6 finals. Those individuals include Marco Polo Uchoa (Open Equitation on the Flat & Over Fences), Courtney O'Connor (Intermediate Equitation on the Flat), Jessie Hood (Advanced Walk/Trot Canter), and Hannah McColl (Walk/Trot).

In the Cacchione Cup, Uchoa finished third with 67 points, Elle Brady took fourth with 49 points and Emma Price was fifth with 38 points.

Zone 6 Finals will be held on Saturday, April 8 at the University of Findlay. Aside from the four individual qualifiers, the Oilers have also qualified a team for the Zone competition.
