Oilers Win Zones

The University of Findlay English IHSA equestrian team hosted individuals from 23 schools across Ohio, Michigan and Kentucky at the James L. Child Jr. Equestrian Complex. This was the last leg of competition that qualifies both teams and individuals for the 50th IHSA National Championship, to be held at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, Ky. in May.

The Oiler finished the day on top, with 41 total team points, and as Zone 6 Champions will send a team to Nationals.

Individuals Oiler riders also competed for a chance to move on. Individually, Marco Polo Uchoa will compete in the Open Equitation Over Fences, Jessie Hood in the Walk/Trot/Canter, and Hannah McColl in the Walk/Trot.
