Oilers Earn Reserve Honors
On Saturday, February 10th and Sunday, February 11th, the Oiler English Hunt Seat equestrian team competed at Lake Erie College. On Saturday the Oilers finished Reserve Highpoint Team, by 1 point. On Sunday they finished third of thirteen teams. A special congratulations to the following Oiler riders who qualified for Regionals in their individual divisions; senior Marco Polo Uchoa (Open Flat), senior Chloe Johnson (Intermediate Flat), junior Alyssa Simin (Open Flat), and sophomore Mackenzie Barnes (Novice Fences). Also, freshmen Meghan Moran received Reserve Highpoint rider honors on Sunday, with her 2nd place finish in Intermediate Equitation on the Flat and 2nd in Novice Equitation Over Fences.
