Ballard Earns Ohio Army National Guard Leadership Award

Defensive back Isaiah Ballard was presented with the Ohio Army National Guard Leadership Award, which is given to one player on each team who represented leadership qualities throughout the Senior Bowl practices and events.

Ballard led the North team with a team-high 10 tackles to go along with a forced fumble and fumble recovery as they fell 21-7 to the South All-Stars in the Ohio Army National Guard Senior Bowl, which was hosted at Crew Stadium in Columbus, Ohio.

In addition, running back Monterae Williams, who was tabbed the NCAA Division II Co-Player of the Year by Ohio College Football, was on hand to accept his award.

Williams, a first team all-conference pick, finished the season with 1,268 yards rushing, averaging 5.1 yards per carry.  He also scored 18 touchdowns on the ground and averaged 115.3 yards per contest, which ranked 15th nationally.

The Canton, Ohio native recorded seven 100-yard rushing games on the year and added 14 receptions for 121 yards and a score.

His 114 total points scored on the year is the third best mark in school history and he know ranks fourth all-time at Findlay with 3,312 career rushing yards.
