Henry Named GLIAC Offensive Player of the Week

Senior wide receiver Lloyd Henry was tabbed the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Offensive Player of the Week on Oct. 13 for his performance in the Oilers 47-7 win over Walsh University on Saturday.

Henry had a record-breaking day during Findlay's win, setting new single game school records for receptions (15) and receiving yards (202).  The Garfield Heights, Ohio native also snagged two touchdown receptions and returned four punts for 20 yards in the game.

Henry's 15 catches were two better than the previous record of 13, which was set by Derek Hutchinson against Tiffin in 1986.  His receiving yards total also bettered the old record setting mark of 195, which was accomplished by Mike Chambers against Ashland in 2008.

The senior ranks second all-time at UF in receptions with 141 and is chasing the all-time record of 149, which is held by Seth White (2010-13).  He also ranks sixth all-time in receiving yards with 1,914.

Henry leads the GLIAC in receptions (45), receptions per game (7.5) and receiving yards (609). He is also ranked second in the league with five touchdown catches.
