Promotions for 1st Home Football Game

The University of Findlay football team will have their first home game of the season on Saturday, Sep. 19 against Tiffin University. The game is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. and will feature several promotions.

The football program and the Findlay City Mission are once again teaming up for a canned food drive. Fans who bring a canned food item to the Oilers game against Tiffin on Saturday will receive $2 off their admission price.

The Oilers football team is also teaming with the Boy Scouts of America to bring scouts to the game. Any scout who comes to the Oilers game against the Dragons in uniform will have free admission. Adult leaders in uniform will also receive free admission while scout parents will pay a discounted rate of $5.

The Boy Scouts of America will also be collecting used shoes at the game for Soles 4 Souls. Fans can bring old shoes and donate them to help youth in poverty.
