Moore Earns G-MAC Player of the Week

GMAC Release

Findlay, OH – Junior Jason Moore has been selected as the Offensive Player of the Week by the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) on Monday, September 11 for his performance against #2 Ferris St. last Saturday. It is the first time in Moore's career that he has earned conference Player of the Week honors and is the second time this year that a Findlay player has been named Offensive Player of the Week.

Although the Oilers took the loss on Saturday, Jason Moore shredded the Bulldogs defense for 125 receiving yards on nine catches. Those nine catches are the third-most in a game in G-MAC history. The Oberlin, Ohio native also hauled in three touchdown passes, tying the G-MAC record set by Kentucky Wesleyan's Keenan Cole last season.

His 125 yard performance marks the ninth time in the last 12 games that Moore has had 100+ receiving yards and is the 13th time in his career that he reached the century mark. With the 125 yards added to his career total, Moore now has 1,918 yards, sixth all-time at the University of Findlay. He needs just 24 yards to pass Mike Chambers (2008-09) to crack the top five.

Saturday's game was also the eighth time in his career that Moore has had at least two receiving touchdowns. He has scored three touchdowns in a game three times.

Findlay's next game is this Saturday, September 16 when they head to Missouri to take on William Jewell College.
