Allen and Ohradzansky Promoted

Findlay, Ohio – After former Findlay football Offensive Coordinator/Quarterbacks Coach Troy Rothenbuhler left the Oilers for a job with the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League (NFL), a pair of coaches on staff have earned promotions. Both Kory Allen and Kyle Ohradzansky will remain with the program and will take on new roles.

Assistant Coach Kory Allen, formerly the run game coordinator and offensive line coach, has been named as the new offensive coordinator. Allen will still retain his duties with the offensive line as well as remaining in charge of the recruiting efforts. Under Allen's direction, the Oilers rushing attack reached new heights in the 2017 campaign, a year in which Findlay made it's first-ever NCAA postseason appearance and, in the first round, knocked off the No. 2 team in the country, Shepherd. Last season Findlay led the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) in scoring offense at 44.5 ppg, total offense at 515.5 yards per game, and rushing offense at 260.9 yards per game, all of which were top six in the country.

Kyle Ohradzansky, in turn, has been promoted to full-time quarterbacks coach after spending two seasons with the Oilers as a graduate assistant. Last season, Ohradzansky helped coach Findlay quarterbacks to 254.6 passing yards per game, third in the league, and 31 passing touchdowns, second in the league.
