Oilers Ranked 25th in AFCA Preseason Poll

Findlay, Ohio - The University of Findlay football team will begin the 2018 season ranked no. 25 in the nation according to the American Football Coaches Association. It will be the first time in program history that the team will begin a season ranked in the NCAA Top-25 to begin the year.

The Oilers, which finished last season with a 10-3 record and an NCAA Playoff win over no. 2, Shepherd, received 101 points and is one of two Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) teams to appear in the poll. Ohio Dominican, which won the league last year, sits at no. 23.

Findlay will open up their season on Saturday, Sep. 1 when they travel to Kentucky Wesleyan to take on the Panthers in a league contest.
