Oilers Jump Six Spots to No. 19 in AFCA Poll

Findlay, Ohio – Following a dominating victory at Kentucky Wesleyan to open up the season in which the Oilers scored 69 points, the most of any top-25 team in Week 1, the Oilers football team has jumped up six spots to no. 19(t) in the nation according to the American Football Coaches Association. That ranking is the highest since the Oilers were ranked no. 18 in 2009.

Findlay's next contest is on the road at no. 9 Ferris State on Saturday, Sep. 8. It will be the first game in which both Findlay and its opponent are ranked since the no. 18 Oilers took on no. 8 Grand Valley State back on Oct. 17, 2009.
