Moore Selected for NFLPA Collegiate Bowl

Findlay, Ohio – On Tuesday, Nov. 6, University of Findlay football senior Jason Moore officially accepted his invitation to participate in the 2019 NFLPA Collegiate Bowl. The Collegiate Bowl will be played on January 19, 2019 at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California.

A senior from Oberlin, Ohio, Moore has established himself as one of the top wideouts in the country and is putting up record numbers in his time at the University of Findlay. The wide receiver has 3,125 career receiving yards on 195 receptions and has scored 37 touchdowns, all of which are career records at Findlay. Moore's first game back in 2018 was his best in his time with the Orange and Black as he caught ten passes for a Findlay record 240 yards. To date, the Oilers' senior has 17 100-yard receiving games, a school record.

While at Findlay, Moore has earned two first team all-conference awards and a pair of Don Hansen All-Region awards. In 2016, Moore set a program record with 1,115 receiving yards and 15 touchdown receptions and subsequently earned honorable mention all-American.

The event was established to prepare draft-eligible seniors from all levels of college football for a career in the National Football League (NFL) and is widely regarded as the premiere post-season bowl for collegiate football players. Players are given a chance to showcase their talents in front of potential fans, but more importantly, in front of nearly 200 scouts, player personnel staff, general managers, and coaches from all 32 NFL teams. In 2018, nearly half of the participating players received invitations to that year's NFL Combine and 19 of the 112 players were selected in the NFL Draft.
