Loveridge Earns Special Teams Player of the Week
Findlay, Ohio – The Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) has named junior kicker Grant Loveridge as the league's Special Teams Player of the Week on Monday, Nov. 12 following the Oilers 38-16 win over no. 24 Tiffin last Saturday.
Despite battling sub-30 degree temperatures and gusty winds, Loveridge was perfect, scoring eight points for his team. He made 5-of-5 on extra points and also nailed a 24-yard field goal in the third quarter. He also had seven kickoffs for a total of 350 yards including three touchbacks.
This is the first Player of the Week award of Loveridge's career.
