Bio

Erik Baker is entering his eighth season on the Oilers football staff in 2021 and will serve as the tight ends coach.

2017 was a special season for the Oilers as they spent most of the year ranked in the top-25 and earned the program's first trip to the NCAA Division II National Playoffs. Baker coached Luke Stuffel to a pair of all-region awards as well as a first team all-conference selection.

In the 2016 season, Findlay's tight ends caught 36 balls for 306 yards and caught seven touchdown passes.

In 2015, Oilers tight ends caught 41 balls for 357 yards and caught seven touchdown passes.

Baker comes to the Oilers after serving as the head football coach and athletic director at Mohawk High School from 2001-13.

Baker graduated from Wright State University in 1992 and later earned his master's degree from the University of Alabama.
