Caiola Named 2nd Team All-Region
Senior guard Kyle Caiola of The University of Findlay men's basketball team was named second team all-region by the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) for his performance during the 2011-12 campaign.
Caiola, who was named first team all-Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC), averaged 15.1 points, 3.7 assists, 2.6 rebounds and 1.5 steals per game as a senior.
The 2012 GLIAC Tournament MVP also shot 49.8 percent from the floor, 45 percent from behind the three point line and 93.2 percent from the free throw line.
His free throw percentage is the second highest mark in NCAA Division II basketball and is the best mark ever by an Oilers player in a season.
