Oilers Add Jones

The University of Findlay men's basketball program announced the signing of Quaran Jones on Wednesday, June 13.

Jones, a 6'6, 225-pound center from Detroit, Mich., played his prep basketball at Ecorse High School where he averaged 20 points, 10 rebounds and 4 blocks per game.

He was named fourth team all-Michigan as a senior and was a two-time Motor City Classic MVP.

"We are excited to sign a big kid with tremendous potential this late in the process," said head coach Charlie Ernst.  "He is a strong inside scorer and rebounder.  He is just scratching the surface physically, but is eager to learn and join our program."
