Men's Basketball Ranked 8th in NABC Poll

The University of Findlay men's basketball team is ranked 8th in the preseason National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) poll, which was released on Friday, Nov. 2.

The Oilers finished last season with a 24-7 record, winning their sixth Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Tournament title.  They also ended the season ranked 25th in the nation after going 1-1 in the national tournament.

The Oilers have a showdown looming with top-ranked West Liberty State University.  The Oilers will host the Hilltoppers, who have reached the Elite 8 in each of the past two seasons, on Wednesday, Nov. 14.  Tip-off is scheduled for a 7:30 p.m. start in Croy Gymnasium.
