Kahlig Named GLIAC Player of the Week

Junior forward Greg Kahlig of the Oilers men's basketball team was named the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) South Division Player of the Week on Monday, Nov. 19.

Kahlig led the Oilers to a 1-1 record during their first week of competition by averaging 18.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game.  The Ft. Recovery, Ohio native also shot 65 percent from the floor and 81.8 percent from the free throw line in the two games.

In the Oilers 90-74 loss to #1 West Liberty State, Kahlig had 14 points, three rebounds and three assists.  He then followed with 23 points and six boards in the Oilers 74-65 win over Cedarville.
