The University of Findlay men's basketball team came away with a 97-58 win over Ohio Dominican University on Thursday, Jan. 10 in Croy Gymnasium to run their record to 10-3 on the year.

The Oilers, who moved to 7-2 in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) with the victory, dominated from the beginning as they captured their 81st straight home win over a league opponent.

Findlay shot 50 percent (31-of-62) from the floor and drained 10-of-24 (41.7%) shot attempts from behind the three point line.  They also came away with 12 steals, blocked seven shots and held the Panthers to a mere 35.9 percent (23-of-64) shooting clip.

Junior forward Greg Kahlig led the Oilers with 22 points while senior guard Aaron Robinson had 12 points.

Senior forwards Jack Smith and Brad Piehl also reached double figures with 11 points apiece as they each grabbed five rebounds as well.

Morgan Jones led the Panthers with 12 points and six assists.

The Oilers will be back at home on Saturday to host Tiffin University at 1 p.m. in Croy Gymnasium.
