The University of Findlay men's basketball is ranked tenth in the second NCAA Division II Midwest Regional Rankings, which were released on Wednesday, Feb. 27.
The top eight teams in the region will qualify for the NCAA Division II Midwest Regional, which is slated for March 16-19. The Elite 8 and Final 4 will then be held on March 28-30 in Louisville, Ky. before the NCAA Division II National Championship takes place on April 7 in Atlanta, Ga.
The Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) dominated the rankings as they have six teams occupying the top eight spots. The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) is represented by Wayne State University and Michigan Technological University in the top eight.
The Oilers will be back in action again on Saturday when they host Hillsdale College in a key GLIAC South Division battle. Last week, the Oilers claimed their 11th GLIAC South Division title.
