Kahlig Named 1st Team All-Midwest Region

Junior forward Greg Kahlig was named first team all-Midwest Region by the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) on Friday, March 22.

Kahlig led the #22 Oilers to a 22-8 record during the 2012-13 campaign and was a first team all-Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) pick.  He also helped the Oilers secure their seventh GLIAC Tournament title and was voted to the all-tournament team in the process.

The Ft. Recovery, Ohio native averaged 17.0 points, 4.6 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game during his junior season.  He also shot 48.9 percent from the floor, 44.1 percent from behind the three point line and 84.6 percent from the charity stripe.
