Kahlig Named GLIAC Player of the Week

Senior forward Greg Kahlig was named the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) South Division Player of the Week on Nov. 20 for his performances in the #8 Oilers first three games of the season.

Kahlig averaged 21.7 points, 6.3 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game in helping the Oilers start the season with a 3-0 record.  The Ft. Recovery, Ohio native also shot 55.6 percent from the floor, 43.8 percent from behind the three point line and 80.0 percent from the charity stripe in the three contests.

The Preseason GLIAC Player of the Year opened the season with 14 points and eight rebounds in a 105-50 win over Marygrove on Nov. 9 and then followed with 21 points, seven rebounds and four assists in a 96-68 victory at Cedarville on Nov. 14.  He most recently posted 30 points and four rebounds in the Oilers 97-66 win at Wheeling Jesuit on Nov. 18.

Kahlig currently ranks 28th all-time at Findlay with 1,206 career points.
