Kahlig Scores 7 in Reece's All-Star Game

Senior forward Greg Kahlig scored seven points and grabbed two rebounds for the East squad in the 2014 Reece's All-Star Game, which was held on March 28 in Evansville, Ind.

Kahlig, the 2014 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Player of the Year, played only 14 minutes in the contest as his team fell 121-109 to the West squad.  He hit 3-of-6 shot attempts and also added a steal.

Mark McLaughlin (Central Washington) and Kenny Williams (Angelo State) each scored a game-high 20 points for the West team while Willie Readus (Delta State) picked up a double-double for the West with 19 points and ten boards.

Aaron Nelson (Southern Indiana), Chuck Guy (Tarleton State) and Rob Camphor (Southwestern Oklahoma) led the East with 17 points apiece.

Kahlig was the fourth Oilers player to participate in the event.  Dustin Pfeifer (2006), Frank Phillips (2007) and Nathan Hyde (2011) were also selected to play in the game.
