Men's Basketball Signs 2 More

The University of Findlay men's basketball team added two more players to their 2014-15 squad as they inked Tyler Arens and Adam Twining during the late signing period.

Arens, a 6'8, 220-pound forward, is from Muncie Central High School in Muncie, Ind. During his senior season, Arens was named first team all-county, first team all-conference and fourth team all-Indiana.  He averaged 16 points, nine rebounds and three assists per game while shooting 54 percent from the floor.  He also hit 40 percent of his three point tries and was selected to play in the Hoosier All-Star Classic.

Twining, a 6'4, 185-pound forward from Findlay High School, was named first team all-conference and first team all-Northwest District as a senior. He also earned second team all-District 8 honors and was tabbed special mention all-Ohio after averaging 15 points, six rebounds and three assists per game.

Both players will join Taren Sullivan (Lima Bath), Elijah Kahlig (Ft. Recovery) and Nick Ruthsatz (Covington Catholic, Ky.), who signed in November.
