Men's Basketball Schedule Features 14 Home Games

2014-15 UF Men's Basketball Schedule

The University of Findlay men's basketball team will have 14 home games during the 2014-15 campaign and kickoff their season with a pair of exhibition games against Wright State University and the University of Toledo.

The Oilers will begin their season with an exhibition game at Wright State University on November 7 before turning around and traveling to the University of Toledo for another exhibition game on November 8.

Findlay opens their regular season on November 18 against Cedarville University (7:30 p.m.) in the friendly confines of Croy Gymnasium before traveling to Louisville, Ky. For a regional matchup against Bellarmine University (3 p.m.) on November 23.  They will then open Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) with a pair of home games against Lake Superior State University (7:30 p.m.) and Northwood University (3 p.m.) on December 4 and 6, respectively.

After opening conference play at home, the Oilers will make the long trip to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan to face Michigan Technological University and Northern Michigan University. The Oilers will face the Huskies on December 11 at 7:30 p.m. and then take on the Wildcats on December 13 at 3 p.m.

On December 16 the Oilers will return home to face Wheeling Jesuit University (7:30 p.m.) before wrapping up their non-conference schedule on December 19 against St. Andrews University (6 p.m.).

The 2015 portion of Findlay's schedule begins with a home game against Ferris State University (7:30 p.m.) on January 2. They will then welcome Grand Valley State University (3 p.m.) to town on January 4 before they play three straight road games, the first three of six scheduled road contests in the month of January.

Findlay will hit the road to face Saginaw Valley State University (8 p.m.) on January 8 before taking on Hillsdale College (3 p.m.) on January 10. They will then face Ohio Dominican University (7:30 p.m.) on January 15 before returning home to battle Tiffin University (3 p.m.) on January 17.

After playing the Dragons, the Oilers will hit the road again for a three-game set beginning on January 22 against Ashland University (7:30 p.m.). They will then take on Lake Erie College (3 p.m.) on January 24 before facing Walsh University (7:30 p.m.) on January 29.

The month of January ends with a home game against Malone University (3 p.m.) on January 31 before the month of February begins with a road game against Wayne State University (7:30 p.m.) on February 2. They will then host Ohio Dominican University (7:30 p.m.) on February 5 before going back on the road to battle Tiffin University (3 p.m.) on February 7.

The Oilers will host Ashland University (7:30 p.m.) on February 12 and then welcome Lake Erie College (3 p.m.) and Walsh University (7:30 p.m.) to town on February 14 and 19, respectively. They will then have their final regular season road game on February 21 against Malone University (3 p.m.) before closing the year at home on February 26 against Wayne State University (7:30 p.m.).

The 2015 GLIAC Tournament is scheduled to begin on March 4 with the semifinals and finals taking place on March 7-8. The NCAA Division II Midwest Regional Tournament will then run from March 14-17 before the NCAA Division II Elite 8 begins on March 25 in Evansville, Ind. The Final 4 will then be on March 26 with the National Championship game slated for March 28.
