Men's Basketball Earns Academic All-Excellence

The University of Findlay men's basketball team earned the Academic Excellence Award from the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) for their work in the classroom during the 2013-14 campaign.

The award was earned by 125 colleges and universities, recognizing outstanding academic achievement. To win the award, a team must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better. Teams must also compete in NCAA Division I, II, III and NAIA Division I and II.

The Oilers were one of four institutions from the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) to earn the award. Ashland University, Malone University and Michigan Technological University also garnered the award from the NABC.
