Oilers Receive Multiple Academic Honors from NABC

The University of Findlay men's basketball team was rewarded for their hard work in the classroom as they earned an Academic Excellence Award from the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC).

These awards recognize outstanding academic achievement by a team with a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or better for the 2015-16 season.

In addition, Dylan Kaufman, Ricardo Smith, John Staley and Austin Gardner were named to the NABC Honors Court.

To qualify for the award, a student-athlete must be either a junior or senior and carry a grade point average of 3.2 or above.
