2016-17 UF Men's Basketball Schedule

The University of Findlay men's basketball team will begin their 2016-17 campaign on Nov. 15 at Fairmont State (7:00 pm) and then head to Trevecca Nazarene (5:00 pm) on Nov. 19. Their first home game is slated to take place on Nov. 26 against Cedarville (7:30 pm) before they open up Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) play on the road at Grand Valley State (7:30 pm) on Dec. 1.

The Oilers will be at Ferris State (3:00 pm) on Dec. 3 before returning home to battle Northwood (7:30 pm) on Dec. 8. They will host Lake Superior State (3:00 pm) on Dec. 10 before heading to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan on Dec. 15 and Dec. 17. They will play at Northern Michigan (8:00 pm) on Dec. 15 and face Michigan Tech (3:00 pm) on Dec. 17.

After their trip to Michigan, the Oilers will return home for five straight games in Croy Gymnasium. They will play Trevecca Nazarene (7:30 pm) on Dec. 29, Marygrove (7:30 pm) on Dec. 30, Carlow (6:00 pm) on Jan. 2, Saginaw Valley State (7:30 pm) on Jan. 5 and Wayne State (3:00 pm) on Jan. 7. The Oilers will then head to Hillsdale (8:00 pm) on Jan. 12 before returning to the friendly confines of Croy Gymnasium for a pair of games against Ohio Dominican and Lake Erie. The Oilers will play Ohio Dominican (7:30 pm) on Jan. 19 and host Lake Erie (3:00 pm) on Jan. 21.

The Oilers will head to Tiffin (7:30 pm) on Jan. 26 before making the trip to Ashland (3:00 pm) on Jan. 28. They will then host Walsh (7:30 pm) on Jan. 30 and remain at home to face Hillsdale (7:30 pm) on Feb. 2. Findlay then goes back out on the road to challenge Ohio Dominican (7:30 pm) on Feb. 9 and Lake Erie (3:00 pm) on Feb. 11.

On Feb. 16 the Oilers will host Tiffin (7:30 pm) and remain at home for senior day on Feb. 18 against Ashland (3:00 pm). They will then close the regular season on Feb. 23 against Walsh (7:30 pm).

The 2017 GLIAC Tournament is slated to begin on Feb. 28. The semifinals and final of the tournament will then be held on March 4-5.

The 2017 NCAA Division II Midwest Regional Tournament is scheduled to begin on March 11 with the second round following on March 12. The regional championship is then slated for March 14.

The NCAA Division II Elite 8 will be held in Sioux Falls, S.D. The Elite 8 game is scheduled to take place on March 22 with the Final 4 contest coming on March 23. The NCAA Division II National Championship will then be held on March 25.
