Oilers Ranked 21st in DII Media Poll

The University of Findlay men's basketball team is ranked 21st in the Preseason NCAA Division II Media Poll, which was released on Nov. 8.

The Oilers finished last season with a 20-8 record and were picked as the favorite to win the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) South Division during the 2016-17 campaign.

The NCAA Division II Media Poll, Sponsored by D2SIDA, is in its third year of existence. Each of the eight regions has representatives from D2SIDA that coordinate the regional committee, with a regional poll that will be released every Monday during the regular season and the national poll released on Tuesday. These weekly rankings are independent of the official NCAA Regional Rankings that will be released closer to the end of the season.
