Oilers Home for 3 Games Over Break
The Oilers will be at home three times over the Holiday season to host Trevecca Nazarene (Dec. 29), Marygrove (Dec. 30) and Carlow (Jan. 2). The Oilers will play Trevecca at 7:30 p.m., Marygrove at 7:30 p.m. and Carlow at 6:00 p.m.

Series Information
The Oilers hold a 1-0 advantage in the all-time series against Trevecca-Nazarene. The Oilers won the only other meeting earlier this season by a score of 85-63 in Nashville.
Martyce Kimbrough led the Oilers with 24 points on 8-of-14 shooting to lead Findlay. Kimbrough also made 6-of-9 attempts from long distance. Taren Sullivan also played well and contributed 17 points, five rebounds and three assists while Elijah Kahlig came off the bench to provide eight points, two rebounds and two assists.
The Oilers hold a 3-0 lead in the all-time series against Marygrove dating back to the 2006-07 campaign when Findlay was victorious by a score of 86-58.
The two programs last met during the 2015-16 campaign. Findlay earned a 111-77 win behind a 61 percent (47-of-77) shooting clip. Dylan Kaufman led the way with 17 points while Alex White had 16 points and nine rebounds.
The Oilers have never played Carlow before.
Findlay
The Oilers edged Michigan Tech by a score of 72-70 on Dec. 17 in Houghton, Mich. to push their record to 7-3 on the season with a 4-2 mark in the GLIAC.
The Oilers found themselves down 64-61 with just over three minutes to play. Junior guard Elijah Kahlig and junior forward Taren Sullivan then hit back-to-back triples to give Findlay a 67-64 lead. A three by the Huskies tied the game, but Kahlig answered with another triple to give Findlay a 70-67 advantage with just under two minutes remaining. The Huskies would then hit another triple to tie the game, but senior forward Tyler Stern-Tucker scored on a layup with just five ticks left to give the Oilers a sweep in the Upper Peninsula.
The Oilers shot 46.4 percent (26-of-56) from the floor and canned 11-of-27 (40.7%) attempts from long range. They were led by Sullivan, who posted 25 points, a career-high nine assists, eight rebounds and a pair of steals.
Kahlig had a huge game as he tied his career-high with 22 points. Kahlig made 7-of-13 attempts from the field and splashed a career-high 6-of-11 tries from three point land in the victory.
Trevecca Nazarene
Trevecca Nazarene is 3-10 on the year. They have been led by Devin Whitfield, who is averaging a team-high 15.2 points per game.
Donovan Donaldson and Percy Blade are also scoring in double figures at 14.8 points and 12.8 points per contest, respectively. Percy also leads the team in rebounding at 6.7 boards per game.
Marygrove
Marygrove is 3-12 on the season. Nate Taylor leads the team with averages of 18.8 points, 9.5 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game.
T.K. Dixson is averaging 11.7 points per contest while Isaac Gillum is contributing 10.9 points per outing.
Carlow
Charlie Scharbo leads Carlow with averages of 16.5 points and 8.4 rebounds per game.
Bombs Away
The Oilers are making 40.2 percent (100-of-249) of their three point attempts this season, the second-best percentage in the GLIAC. They are also making 10.0 three pointers per game, the third-best mark in the league.
The Oilers have three players who are shooting over 40 percent from three point range. Junior guard Elijah Kahlig is making a team-best 45.6 percent (26-of-57) of his triple tries and is followed by junior forward Taren Sullivan, who is converting 44.9 percent (22-of-49) of his shot attempts from behind the three point line. Junior guard Martyce Kimbrough is canning 44.7 percent (38-of-85) of his three point attempts as well.
Kimbrough is making 3.8 three pointers per game, the second-best mark in the GLIAC. His 38 made triples is also leading the GLIAC. His three point field goals made per game also ranks 15th nationally while his 38 made three pointers on the season is the 20th-best mark in all of NCAA Division II men's basketball.
Kahlig meanwhile is connecting on 2.6 three pointers per game, the seventh-best mark in the league, while Sullivan is splashing 2.2 triples per contest. Sullivan's 2.2 three pointers per game is the 12th-best mark in the conference.
A Tough Place to Play
The Oilers are 585-118 (.832) in Croy Gymnasium since they starting playing home games there during the 1969-70 season. They have gone undefeated at home eight times in a season since they began play in Croy Gymnasium as well.
In the past ten years the Oilers have posted a staggering 130-8 record at home for an incredible winning percentage of .942.
From 2004-11, the Oilers won 71-straight home games, which at the time was the longest streak in the nation regardless of NCAA division.
Handling Non-Conference Foes
The Oilers have posted a 47-2 record (.951) against non-conference opponents in games played at Croy Gymnasium during the past ten years. Their last loss at home to a non-conference team came against #1 West Liberty State by a score of 90-74 on Nov. 14, 2012.
