Sullivan Named GLIAC Player of the Week

Junior forward Taren Sullivan earned Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) South Division Player of the Week honors for the second time this season on Jan. 23. Sullivan also captured the award on Jan. 9.

Sullivan led the Oilers to a pair of wins last week by averaging 21.0 points, 8.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 1.5 steals and 1.0 blocks per game. Sullivan also shot 61.3 percent (19-of-31) from the floor in the victories. Sullivan began the week with 20 points, five rebounds and three assists in the Oilers 72-69 win over Ohio Dominican on Jan. 19. He closed the week with 22 points, 11 rebounds, five assists and three steals in Findlay's 81-79 victory against Lake Erie on Jan. 21.

The Lima, Ohio native is stuffing the stat sheet for the Oilers this season with averages of 16.7 points, 6.7 rebounds, 4.4 assists, 1.7 steals and 1.0 blocks per game.
