The Oilers will be on the road this week to face Ohio Dominican and Lake Erie. The Oilers will play the Panthers on Feb. 9 at 7:30 p.m. and then face the Storm on Feb. 11 at 3:00 p.m.

Two Former UF Men's Basketball Players Headed to the Hall

University of Findlay men's basketball legends Mike Pohlman ('00) and Dustin Pfeifer ('06) will enshrined in the UF Athletic Hall of Fame on Feb. 18 in the Winebrenner Theological Seminary.

Doors will open at 10:15 a.m. and the induction/luncheon will begin at 11 a.m. The registration fee is $25 for adults, $15 for minors and free for children ages 6 and younger. Series Information

The Oilers have posted a 30-7 advantage in the all-time series against Ohio Dominican dating back to the 1969-70 campaign when they were victorious by a score of 87-69. Earlier this season the Oilers earned a 72-69 win over the Panthers in Croy Gymnasium behind a career-high 21 points from Tyler Stern-Tucker.

Taren Sullivan and Martyce Kimbrough each added 20 points apiece in the victory as well.

The Oilers hold a 20-2 advantage in the all-time series against Lake Erie dating back to the 1988-89 campaign when Findlay was victorious by a score of 84-51. Findlay defeated Lake Erie by a score of 81-79 earlier this season in Croy Gymnasium. Findlay made 30-of-69 (43.5%) from the floor and just 6-of-22 (27.3%) from deep while the Storm shot a blistering 31-of-56 (55.4%) and made a season-high 11-of-24 (45.8%) from beyond the arc.

Taren Sullivan led all scorers with 22 points and he also posted a game-high 11 rebounds for a double-double. Martyce Kimbrough added 20 points.

Findlay

The Oilers are 17-5 on the season and leading the South Division of the GLIAC. unior guard Martyce Kimbrough and junior forward Taren Sullivan have been carrying the scoring load for Findlay this season and are both ranked in the top-ten of the GLIAC in points per game average.

Kimbrough is averaging 18.2 points per contest, the fifth-best mark in the league, while Sullivan ranks eighth with 17.0 points per game. The duo has spearheaded one of the top offensive attacks in the league as the Oilers rank third in scoring at 83.9 points per game.

The Panthers are 13-9 on the season with an 8-8 record in GLIAC play. They are 8-3 at home this year and are coming off a pair of wins last week against Ashland and Tiffin.

Ronnie Williams leads the team and is averaging 14.0 points per game. Hasan Varence is averaging 13.0 points and 7.8 rebounds per contest while Sam Hickey is scoring 12.2 points per outing.

The Storm are 4-20 on the season with a 3-13 record in conference play. They are 1-9 at home this year and are coming off two losses last week against Tiffin and Walsh.

Sean Howard leads the team with an average of 15.5 points per game.

Bombs Away

The Oilers are making 39.4 percent (213-of-541) of their three point attempts this season, the third-best percentage in the GLIAC. They are also making 9.7 three pointers per game, which is the second-best mark in the league.

Junior guard Elijah Kahlig is making a team-high 44.5 percent (57-of-128) of his triple tries and is followed by junior forward Taren Sullivan, who is converting 43.3 percent (39-of-90) of his shot attempts from behind the three point line. Junior guard Martyce Kimbrough is canning 40.4 percent (76-of-188) of his three point attempts as well. Kahlig ranks fourth in the GLIAC in three point shooting percentage while Sullivan and Kimbrough rank eighth and 19th, respectively, in the GLIAC.

Kimbrough is making 3.5 three pointers per game, the best mark in the GLIAC. His 76 made triples is also leading the GLIAC. His 76 made three pointers on the season is the 15th-best total in all of NCAA Division II men's basketball.

Kahlig meanwhile is connecting on 2.6 three pointers per game, the eighth-best mark in the league, while Sullivan is splashing 1.8 triples per contest. Sullivan's 1.8 three pointers per game is the 25th-best mark in the conference.

Automatic from the Line

Junior guard Martyce Kimbrough is making 96.2 percent of his free throw attempts this season, the best mark in the GLIAC. His free throw percentage is also the second-best mark in NCAA Division II men's basketball.
